These are the building opening hours for the Easter weekend.

Aungier Street

Good Friday 25th & Saturday 26th  8am to 6pm 

Closed Sunday 27th & B/H Monday 28th

Castle House

Friday 25th – 8:00am to 10:00pm, 

Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th & B/H Monday 28th  8am to 6pm 

Note that the library is open 11am to 5pm on Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday

Sunday Opening

As exam-time draws inexorably closer, we will be opening on a number of Sundays and Bank Holidays over the coming weeks.  The full schedule is:

Note that there are days where only Aungier St. is open (1st and 8th June) and days where only Dame St. is open (Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, May Bank Holiday Monday)

When a library is open, it is open from 11am to 5pm on the day. 

Bits n' Pieces

A couple of small news items:

1) Loans due back Friday 29th, Saturday 30th March and Monday 1st April have a new due date of Tuesday 2nd April, so don't feel you have to make it over the Easter weekend to return your loans, you can wait until Tuesday now.

2) We've added a 4th study room in Aungier St. However you'll have to share this with library staff, who be using it from time-to-time.

3) We've experiencing some temporary difficulty with Westlaw UK access through Athens at the moment.  I'm sure this will be resolved swiftly. At least I hope it will.

Good Friday 6th:   8:00am to 10:00pm,  

Saturday 7th          9:00am to 6:00pm

Sunday 8th            9:00am to 6:00pm

 B/H Monday 9th  9:00am to 6:00pm

Balfe Street & Bow Lane

Three things

We are now entering the Dreaded Exam Period (cue rising organ music).  The Dreaded Exam Period means three things:

1) Fines double for the duration of the exam period.  Instead of €0.60 and €1.50, fines on overdue material will be €1.20 and €3.00.  This is not a cynical revenue generating exercise by the library, this is a genuine attempt to keep books in circulation and deter students from hogging texts that are in demand.

2) We open Sundays from 11am to 5pm.  We also open Good Friday and Easter Monday  11am to 5pm.  A separate post will appear in a day or two with details of DBS building opening hours during the Easter Weekend.

3) In response to the increased number of queries: Most previous years' exam papers can be on Moodle at this link.  You will need to login to access it.  Actually, just checking on Moodle there and I see that the link is prominently displayed in the site news section.  Exam papers are split by category - undergraduate arts, undergraduate business, postgraduate arts, postgraduate business, law and ICM/DBS diplomas/Springboard courses.  I stress,the papers are you looking for are probably there, but not necessarily.
