That age old question...

That always pops-up, every year around now.

Where can I find previous years' exam papers?

The answer is Moodle.  This link  http://elearning.dbs.ie/course/index.php?categoryid=50 (login required) leads to all previous years' exam papers that are available online.

You can navigate to here via the Moodle home page, as there is a link on the top right of the page - as shown here

The library wishes each and every one of you the best of luck in your exams this year

Sunday Opening/Fine Doubling again

We're open every Sunday over the exam period, with the last Sunday opening being 10th May.
Aungier St (but NOT Dame St) will also be open May Bank Holiday Monday .

Opening hours on these days will 11am to 5pm

Also, fine doubling is now in operation and will end Friday 16th May.  This is purely to encourage circulation of study materials in the time that they are needed the most.

The library wishes the best of luck to all students taking exams in the next few weeks.

Database Trial

http://fame.bvdinfo.com/

http://orbis.bvdinfo.com/

For the next couple of weeks we have Fame (UK/Ireland) and Orbis (global) company information databases on trial.  The URLS are embedded in the above images, but you'll need a username (dublinschool1) and password (dublinschool1) [dublinschool2 to 5 will also work].  I can confidently reveal the usernames and passwords, as you can only access these databases on-campus, so sorry, non-DBS lurkers!

Sunday opening/Fine doubling: coming soon.

The cycle of the academic year will shortly reach the end of year exam period (cue dramatic music).  In addition to marathon studies sessions & a lot of stress, the exam season brings:

1. Sunday Opening.

Throughout April and into May, we'll be open every day (terms and conditions may apply), including Sundays and Bank Holidays.  A calendar will appear here later

2. Doubling of Overdue Book Fines.

To try to prevent hogging of much needed textbooks and ensure fair circulation of materials, fines for overdue books will be doubled during the exam period.  More information about dates will alos appear here soon.
